Are you looking for a holiday where you can develop your leadership skills, build confidence and maybe even become a future holiday leader?
Basecamp is a leadership development experience with a difference.
You will work with the National Trust to maintain footpaths on some of the Lake District’s most famous walking routes, developing team working and practical skills.
Back on site, and after some well-deserved cake, you will be able to choose from a varied programme of talks, seminars and workshops designed to equip you for leadership in the workplace, at university and at church. Topics include leading a bible study, discovering your leadership style and giving a short talk; in the evenings we share in worship together and study God’s word.
Alongside all that you’ll have a chance to enjoy outdoor activities and adventures such as rock climbing, hill walking and gorge walking. You will also have a chance to complete a one day first aid course qualification.
The cost includes all accommodation and activities. The nearest rail station is Penrith and we are able to provide pick ups from there - please email us after making your booking to let us know this is something you will be needing.
